Port Elizabeth

Dotting the sea south of St. Vincent are the 30-some islands that make up the Grenadines. The closest of them is Bequia, just 14 kilometers (nine miles), or an hour’s ferry ride, from Kingstown. The island’s capital, Port Elizabeth, sits on Admiralty Bay, one of the Caribbean’s more photogenic harbors thanks to its yachts and surrounding lush, green hills.

Salt Whistle Bay

This pristine tropical bay and its beach are protected from rough Atlantic waters by a small piece of land that extends out into the ocean. Charming bungalows on the breathtaking Salt Whistle Bay, Mayreau, which National Geographic called "Paradise Found" and Conde Nast Traveler listed as a "Top International Beach.
